Due to his passion for the youth of the city he took their current youth group, of 200 teens and grew it to 800. It became the largest youth ministry in the state of Kansas. In 2001, Jon was awarded the “youth pastor of the year” award. After graduating high school in 1996 he served as youth pastor until 2005, and then went on to serve as a young adult pastor from 2005-2010. Pastor Jon’s relentless passion is what drives him to take unprecedented steps of faith in his walk with Christ in order to see the unreached discover that they are sons and daughters of God, and that Christ has not only provided the salvation but, He has come to bring them hope, peace, joy, love and life extraordinary for today!

He and his wife Lisa reside in the Kansas City area with their three sons. Jonathan, Jaxon and Brixton.
